Richmond Chamber hosted the 2014 BC Chamber of Commerce Conference
Last week, Richmond Chamber of Commerce concluded their three day conference at the Seine Loft in Britannia Shipyard. Members from around the province visited our beautiful city. It was the biggest event held to date at this newly renovated building.
Several local businesses worked together to make this a successful event.
Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel catered a delicious dinner sponsored by Port Metro Vancouver. Qoola provided tantalizing dessert. Central City Brewing supplied Red Racer beer.
As part of our sponsorship, we made everything authentic with decor! And we sourced fresh spot prawns from a local fisherman – what a treat! Those could be found along with other seafood at the “Steveston Seafood Station.”
Oh, we nearly forgot to delight your taste buds with details about the fun food stations. Each represented a different aspect of our city.
The “On the Farm” station featured duck and cheese lollipops – that’s one we hadn’t seen before. Chicken tandoori and sushi were two features at “Cultural Diversity”. “Commerce” offered coffee and rich desserts. A carving sirloin station was the star for “Film” station. The bar was at “YVR” – perhaps in salute to all you can get on a plane these days?
And to cap off, McNair Secondary quartet serenaded the event.
A great opportunity for networking with yummy treats to boot! A big thanks to the Richmond Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a beautiful event!
